The V-neck sweater is the easiest to layer over a shirt, and Lacoste does it in blue. Classic cut, plain knit and the crocodile on the chest as the only embellishment.

The V-neck is deep enough to show the collar. Long sleeves with ribbed cuffs, ribbed hem that fits the sweater at the waist, green embroidered crocodile on the left.

With a light blue or checked shirt and jeans it is an everyday classic. With beige chinos and loafers it becomes an office look without a jacket.

René Lacoste won seven Grand Slam titles and two Davis Cups with France. In 1933, with André Gillier, he founded the company that bears his name and put the crocodile on the shirts, his nickname on the court.
