Description
The Mathy is a women's coat with a shirt collar and a cut that flares slightly towards the hem. Here it is in blue, made of polyester with a touch of polyurethane.
The fastening is covered by a placket that runs the full length. Above the collar there is a hood, and inside the neck you can see the K-Way signature multi-coloured striped tape. The seams follow the waist and the cuffs are smooth.
Over grey trousers or light jeans, with a cream-coloured sweater, the blue remains clean and bright. With loafers it is office-ready, with sneakers it becomes sportier.
K-Way was born in 1965 from an idea by Léon-Claude Duhamel, who one rainy day, sitting at the Café de la Paix in Paris, watched passers-by getting wet. The first model was a nylon jacket that folded into a pouch.
